WAFACASH ENGAGES FOR THE ENVIRONMENTAL CAUSE
The Eco-Cash concept by Wafacash was launched in 2019 as part of the sustainable development and improvement of the citizens' quality of life.
The Eco-Cash by Wafacash community was created with the aim of mobilizing for strong ecological and environmental causes that can have significant impacts on our environment and our country. Through this community, Wafacash organizes at least one major action annually that will benefit from the general mobilization of our employees, both in Morocco and in all the countries where Wafacash operates.
The first event scheduled this year was the Trash Challenge, which was a huge success.
The 2019 Trash Challenge instantly covered 3 countries, 25 cities, and 38 locations.
WAFACASH SETS UP A 100% ECOLOGICAL MOBILE AGENCY AT COP22
Wafacash reinforces its commitment to environmental responsibility by installing an eco-friendly mobile agency at the COP22. This initiative is in line with the company’s vision, which, since its founding in 1991, has combined environmental responsibility and innovation to meet the financial needs of its customers.
The mobile agency, powered 100% by solar energy and housed in a vehicle 6 meters long and 3 meters wide, offers a complete range of financial services, including currency exchange at competitive rates.
This ecological initiative is not new to Wafacash, which has been successfully using this concept for a decade during its weekly market tours across the country and in high-traffic areas during the summer period, thus demonstrating its ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability and the socio-economic development of Morocco.
